Supporting the Black Women's Health Imperative

When the world feels heavy, like it does right now, I try to remember the words of Mister Rogers: “Look for the helpers.”

The Black Women’s Health Imperative (@blkwomenshealth on Instagram) is the oldest national organization dedicated solely to improving the health and wellness of Black women and girls in the U.S.—physically, emotionally, and financially. This organization, the people who do this work, are among the helpers making the world a better place right now.

I’m proud to support this organization through 10% off all online sales from January to March. My hope is that these humble funds can make a difference for Black women and girls who are being disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please take the time to learn more about this organization at www.bwhi.org and how they are helping make a difference in this world. Consider donating directly to them or making a purchase through our store to support them indirectly.

“We believe that Black women and girls should enjoy optimal health and well-being in a socially just society.”
